Introduction
Why Swingform ?
Whilst a whole myriad of golf scores and statistics exist, there is no real consolidated toolset that accurately compares each player with meaningful and up to date information.
The Swingform core database is the result of ten thousand hours of data inputting. It consists of over a million scores from some 4000 players in 500+ tournaments.
Swingform has a unique and simplistic handicapping system where
1 unit = 1 shot - thus giving each player his own set of handicap figures. This makes for an easy clear-cut comparison between players against an upcoming tournament.
Why Not A Book ?
It is essential that the information is as up to date as the 19th hole! The Internet is the only platform that can drive these latest statistics directly to the punter as they unfold. Only these latest stats can give a true indication of the players form.
Each Tuesday before a Tournament we Publish the Datasheet for the event. Usually you will have 'subscribed' to recieve the Datasheet, by doing so you will simply get an email which notifies you of its availability.
Upon completion of the event our database is updated, this ensures the next Datasheet is based on the very latest information.
What Do You Get ?
For Only £2.50 Per Tournament you get a full information Datasheet in addition to our selected tips for the week.
Each Datasheet contains the latest statistical information to express all entrants in the form of competitveness. This makes for an easy comparison between players using various Key Performance Indicators; easily sorting and grouping these by the characteristics you feel most important.
You can study the forms at leisure to formulate your own selections, or the more time restrained punter can take advantage of our suggested weekly tips.
By Who ?
SwingForm is the creation of brothers Jonathan and Peter Fenton. Peter being a Professional Golfer has used his many years of experience to identify key attributes and trends that indicate competitiveness.
Jonathan brought today's technology to the table, which not only encompassed Peters original tried and tested formula but drove it to a whole new level of accuracy, speed and accessibility.
The astounding synergy of this partnership has culminated in a very streamlined product; portraying a massively in-depth and complex system, in a concise, simplistic and easy to follow scheme.
In Detail
This website has been designed to help anyone who bets on professional golf. Both the European and PGA Tours are covered, as are the four Majors and all World Golf Championships. Events within the Asian & Australasian Tours are also included.
SwingForm was created under the belief that the many statistics available on professional golf today are of very little use to the punter.
Stroke averages for instance, totally misleading until we know where and in what conditions all the rounds of all the players were played in, and who has the time or resources to find that out !?
Also, how does knowing a players sand save ratio, or how far he hits his driver improve your chances of knowing how hes going to perform TODAY, on THIS COURSE ? Hardly, if at all!
The golf punter has it tough, left to pick winners from fields in excess of 150 each week. Having to consider fierce competition from a broad spectrum of ages, shapes and sizes, with new faces appearing on tour frequently from any corner of the globe. The seemingly generous odds are, statistically proven, anything but.
If a punter is to beat such odds on a regular basis they need better information. That information would need to be fresh, clear, accurate and relevant.
Within this website you will see in operation a diverse and totally unique handicapping system. Every round of competitive golf from each player is taken into consideration. This results in a database of over 4000 golfers, each with their own set of handicap figures.
These figures will be clearest indication of a players form, ability and chances for the week you will have seen.

Jonathan Fenton
Jonathan has first hand experience of project and company management from an IT perspective. For over 20 years he has applied 'logical systems' to all forms of business; replacing cumbersome over complex software tool sets with smaller more specialised solutions, tailor made & developed primarily around the activities of the end user.
Whilst initially working in the Engineering sector for some years, his more recent work has been in the financial sector, working alongside the likes of Ernst & Young, HSBC and Norwich Union in developing niche systems around specialised policies. Jonathan also runs his own IT consultancy supporting local businesses and schools.
Peter Fenton
Peter started playing golf at the age of 15. By the time he was 23, he had racked up over 50 victories worldwide, as well as representing both county and country on many occasions. In 1996 he won a National Amateur event by claiming the coveted Brabazon Trophy. Beating all comers by an impressive eight shots, including the likes of Justin Rose and Sergio Garica.
This victory earned him a place in the England team, alongside such names as Luke Donald, for the Home Internationals held later that year. Peter made a massive contribution to England's victory by winning all five of his matches, a feat only ever achieved once before, and to this day remains unbeaten for his country.
Just before turning pro he won another national event by helping Yorkshire win the 1997 English County Final. In the seven years as a pro Peter achieved two victories, alongside several top 5 and numerous top 10 finishes, featuring in both the European & Challenge Tours along the way.
